Picto Selector Now there is a free ware program available were you can make your own picture aid: Picto Selector It is a program that is very easy to use and it has a lot of useful functions. You can download the program from http://www.pictoselector.eu/ On this web page you can read about the program. We have made two short videos “Picture aid 1 and 2” about how to get started. Picto Selector contains about 27 000 free images to download. It is in English, but you can change to many different languages and you can write any text you whish under the images. If you are having difficulties in  finding out the name in English of the picture you are looking for, we recommend that you use Google Translate. You also can search under different categories. You can insert pictures and photos of your own into the program. We have made some examples of picture aid; Visual Scheme, To chose activity, How to take a shower, Packing List, Telephone Book and About feelings. iLearn is a project co-financed by the European Commission in the framework of the Lifelong Learning Programme with the aim to foster social inclusion, lifelong learning and voluntary work. iLearn wants to offer a fruitful opportunity to learn, share experience and connect to each other to people with disabilities, parents or caretakers, volunteers and local authorities. More specifically iLearn focuses on people with disabilities: to facilitate their social inclusion using accessible ICT tools both for learning and networking parents and caretakers: to provide them ICT solutions for getting information and sharing experiences volunteers: to offer them opportunity to learn about the specifics of disabilities and for networking local authorities and policy makers: to provide them with fruitful occasion to learn from different countries and practices. Based on the results of a careful users’ needs analysis, iLearn partners are developing web 2.0 services, accessible ICT tools, specific learning materials and networking opportunities addressing these target groups.
