“Kognus” has produced a handbook and a movie. This material can be used as a workbook together with the person with autism spectrum disorder ASD, but also as educational material for anyone interested in ASD. It will help to understand why and how to find solutions when difficulties arise in everyday life. Link to the movie Link to the handbook THE PRACTICAL GUIDE FOR CAREGIVERS – adults with autism spectrum disorders is a book, free to download, about how to work with adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD The book was also used by the participants in a research study on group psychoterapy for adults with ASD, and was highly appreciated. The book was originally written by Anna Sjölund and Susanne Bejerot in Swedish (original title: Boendestödsboken- vuxna med autismspektrumtillstånd, editor: Autism och Aspergerförbundet www.autism.se). The illustrations are made by Ossian Humble, and Amanda Hicks translated the book into English.
